Whom Shall I Fear?

Giving God Your Fears

Learning to deal with a chronic illness includes turning your worries and fears over to God.

Wondering, worrying and becoming fearful of what the future holds or what others think of you as you confront your chronic illness is a place you just can’t live!
You must remember the Scriptures and remind your heart the Lord God alone is your light and your salvation!

Today’s Bible Verse:

Psalm 27: 1-3 (KJV) “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.”

What the Verse Means:

With God on your side as Believers in Jesus Christ, you can defeat fear and have confidence.

Personalized Prayer Using Today’s Scripture:

  • Thank you, Lord, for being my light and my salvation. Because of this, whom shall I fear?
  • Thank you, Lord, for being the strength of our life. Because of this, of whom shall, I be afraid?
