As a Believer in Jesus Christ faces a chronic illness they may feel alone. God has made provisions for this feeling of being alone. His Holy Spirit prays for us. He has given us His church. The church is here to minister to us.
Today’s Bible Verse:
Romans 8:26-28 (KJV), “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”
What the Verses Mean:
God gives His Spirit and His church to help us as we deal with a chronic illness.
Praying Using the Verses:
- Heavenly Father, we thank You for giving us Your Holy Spirit and church to help us as we face the challenges of our chronic illness.
- Thank You for Your Holy Spirit that makes intercession for us.
- Thank You that Your spirit makes intercession for us according to the will of God.
